In during day or in during night?

As my shetland suffers from sweet itch, I'll be bringing both mine in during the day and then turning them out in the evening at around half 7.

All mine are in during the day - so I can work them and they can have some hay and a small feed - Paddocks still a little bare (but good for the wasitlines!!) and out late afternoon till next morning - seem very happy at this and the hairy ones are now ging out naked ! while it's still dry I'm making the most of it !!

Forgot to add that both my ponies can easily put on weight so it's not just because of my shetland's sweet itch that I'm bringing them in!

Mine stays in at night all year round. I would prefer him to go out at night during the summer with the majority of the others but the g*t won't stay in his field all night and takes himself out and back to his stable at some point. Regardless of how much grass there is! or how much pain he will endure to get through some pretty substancial electric fencing.

Ours are out during the day and in at night but hopefully if the weather stays ok, they will be out 24/7 from first week in May
