I don't believe that scanning is at all expensive - something in the region of £50 from what I remember 2 years ago.

There is no need to get her scanned imediately but you will need to look up the additional jabs she requires and time the confirmation for before those are due.

Hope your circumstances change soon - my other half is out of work at the moment too and I know how stressful it can be without this lot of santimonious twits getting to you too!
