After typing this question into google in thousands of different formats and coming back with nothing I have decided to join a forum and ask it myself!!

I have decided to enter my Part Bred pony into the New Forest County Show this summer in the In-Hand Competition Pony Class.

However, I am at a total loss as to which bridle she should wear.
She is a New Forest X American Paint and has a fine head, fine legs and then a short neck and body (she is nice honest!)

Personally, I would like to show her in a flash bridle with reins as she looks beautiful in it and that's what I trot her up in a BE events and I think they really suit and frame her head. In-hand bridles make her look stubby though I know they are more correct.
I really don't want to be the odd one out (even though it will get us noticed) I have already made the decision that she is to wear a plain browband and not a ribbon one??

Help!! Thanks

Have you got a pic? Then people may be able to give more advice about what would suit. You shouldn't show in a flash though, only a plain noseband of some discription.

I'd go for a plain bridle with reins if she's over 4 (which judging the BE comment she is!)

I nearly entered the competition pony, going for the part bred class instead. Good luck, I can't see the pic of your girl but I will keep an eye out for you! :)
