In hand evening class attire

Hi

I'm after some advise please, I will be taking my Irish draft to an in hand show in a few weeks time. I'm planning to enter a day class and may also possibly enter one of their evening classes.



I have attached a picture of us at a show we entered a couple of months ago, so you can see our "day" wear (I am thinking of changing my trousers for a beige pair, which I think may look better) but I'd really like some advice regarding what I should wear to an evening class? I have seen lots of different outfits (navy show jackets with stocks, as well as more dressy outfits such as black trousers with sparkly tops), but I'm not actually sure which would be correct.

Also if we are lucky enough to manage to get through to the championship, if I only enter the day class would my day wear be fine for the championship or if I was to get through for the day as well as the evening class, should I wear the evening attire?

I would expect that you'd be better in a navy jacket for evening classes, however I'm sure some of the more experienced showing buffs will be able to give you a more detailed answer!
