to have Donovan wear a bridle number instead of OH getting in a tangle wearing one on his back tied on. I dont quite know how he manages it, but the number inevitably ends up either folded in half, or working its way round to his front!!

Not sure about the bridle numbers but try number clips or cheaply safety pins.

Take the string away, cut the number to is has nice curved edges and pin it on. looks better than string everywhere and it doesn't move either.

I believe that you have to have a number on your back.

I had number clips as a xmas present!! Best thing ever to happen to the show ring, especially when I'm switching numbers in a hurry when changing horses! I'm sure you could substitue safety pins however!

Or you can put the number round the top of your arm, usually only done in shetlands, highlands and occasionally hunters.
