In hand outfit

Hi
I'm looking at doing some in hand with my cob only at local level but I'm wondering about colour of gloves, I'm getting contradicting info should they be black or brown. I'm using short black boots, blank pants, shirt, tie and tweed jackets thanks.
 
I thought that but because I have black boots (have to be short I have little fat legs ?) I should match them.
I have a riding hat black and silver.

Nope always brown gloves for showing never black ones. Black boots are normal too
