when showing a welsh section B gelding (6yo), in a bridle, do you lead from the bit with a link/couple chain, or directly from the noseband? or doesn't it matter? My in hand bridle also as an extra leather bit that attaches the bit rings up to the ring on the back of the nose band, (but i can take this off) so i could have the lead rein going from the central ring at the back but at the same time attached to the bit rings?

i haven't got a picture & I'm learning V fast about section B's!!

We lead from the bit with a leather strap that bridges between the bit rings, sorry I dont know what its alled!.

absolutely not!!! Its the only way I am learning!!! Sorry, I was trying to make a good comment, but think it probably sounded wrong!!!

I prefer seeing mares and geldings in white halters, but if you need to use a bridle then get a coupling to go on your bit, chains only tend to be used for stallions :)
