Is there a Matalan near you - if you dont mind stretch cotton 'jeans' they do nice beinge ons (which I have and love), about £12 a pair I think!

I have some thick brown heavy cotton trousers (not jeans) that I found on ebay for £10 which are just the job.

I've just got a pair from Marks & Spencers - only £15! They're dark beige and are just right.
