We are going to show my baby, he will be one in may.
He is dun.
This is what I am thinking am I right or wrong?

oh cream trousers, waist coat brown or a tweed jacket if i can get one
does he need a hat ???
what colour tie ??
what colour shoes/boots

pony rope halter

We have never showed anything before, but there is a first time for everything

you want contrasting colour trousers

this is so that when running the horses legs are clearly visible in relation to your ohs legs.

tweed is more commonly seen although brown will be ok.

matching hat is a must tbh

tie also, i always just wear black but can be any colour you want tbh.

as for shoes/boots, any that are comfortable, no trainers obviously

but most shows wont notice the footwear at all and i have never got a true answer from judges as what to wear only comfortable and smart

is it a colt/gelding/mare btw?

Check your schedule as we have a properly fastened hard hat rule for all our in hand classes.

What breed is he as the welshies are often shown in the white halters but you can use an in hand bridle or a smart leather headcollar if you don't want him in a bit, whatever you feel in control in. Welsh cobs are often shown by men in shirts and waistcoats.
