Am going to go to my local riding club show tomorrow to do some in hand showing with my youngster. I have to admit showing is not really a passion of mine so I haven't got all the posh gear. I was going to wear light coloured trousers and shirt & tie with a black waistcoat and black jodphur boots and gloves....will this be ok? I don't possess a tweed jacket only a couple of black show jackets but as it looks like it's going to be scorching Iwas hoping to get away with not wearing one at all:)

That sounds fine :).

The unwritten rule is that you wear the opposite colour trousers to your horses legs. So if your horse has white legs, change your trousers to a black or brown.
