Jumped Anky in a different bit yesterday, which made a big difference to our approaches, so feeling very pleased with him, then went home & watched some of badminton, have now just spent time on the net looking at photos of different XC schooling courses thinking which would be a good one to take him for his 1st taste (he's hunted lots but never done 'proper' XC)
OH has reminded me that i agreed not to take him XC schooling until after LO2 is born, I have such itchy feet, and the fact that I hunted until i was 20something weeks with fred (not being sensible & jumping allsorts of stupid things) really isn't helping me convince myself that XC schooling would be a silly idea.
I know all the rational logical dangers, all the common sense reasons for obviously not taking a horse XC schooling when he's never been before, but part of me just can't stop thinking why not, the fences are no bigger than the SJs I'm jumping etc, etc, etc,

God i am my own worst enemy, and my dressage comp got cancelled on sat so i didn't even get to have a fix of competing, & now we're moving house in 2 weeks, (I hope) i'm not going to get out to much dressage this month, just as i was thinkign i'd passify myself with dressage (horse has also never doen a dressage test LOL) i flaming well watched badminton!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

(sorry to sound like such a moaning minny, am so pleased with horse that its so frustrating)

RD you make me laugh so much... I really don't know where you get all your energy from! LOL!

At the end of the day only you can decide what to do - but it's not long to wait in the long-term scheme of things...
Think of your new house and shopping to fill it! haha!
