Of places I can take Henry to work on his focus training.

We need a halfway house between home or regular walks, and full on EXCITING

places (like shoots, or big horse events).

Oh and ideally they need to be free to enter:p

I've been considering this and all I've got so far is going to the agility class my trainer runs and working Henry in the other arena - trouble is it will use extra petrol to get there and I'd rather not do that if I can avoid it:o

Sports pitches (football, rugby etc). There is quite often open ground near the actual pitch and as long as dogs aren't banned (which sadly seems to be happening more and more) there would be the distraction of shouting, balls etc. And of course lots of men running round in shorts to distract you :p

Ooooh an excellent idea on many levels:D

Cheers guys!

We've just been past the children's playground, the duckpond:eek: and the square where people feed the seagulls and pigeons:eek::eek::eek: and he was really a very good boy, all things considered - a bit 'looky' but got his focus back (although we did have to step back down to shaping the behaviour for a little while):) What a clever lad!

Must also find out when local horse shows are happening, does H&H list the little ones? I've never actually needed to look for them before!:)
