Grace has come in season this morning and has been the devil reincarnated
laugh.gif

She is spooky, squeeling and bucking when being led in hand and has been flying around the field bucking and rearing... Anyone else's mare come in season with this lovely weather?

Te he... Grace is just so sensitive. This is the first time she has been in season since I took her one. She was doing a lot of kicking at her belly and swishing, so I think she must be feeling quite aggitated.

Perphaps just the first one of the year and she will probably settle down next time.
It is quite buggy as well though with this warm weather.
Seems to be a lot of midges about.

SWUO hasn't shown any signs of coming into season yet, which suits me just fine! Not sure it'll be the same once the little newfie comes home though.....

SWUO certainly is why I'm not looking forward to her seasons starting! Last time she stood with hur bum in one of the other horses face squirting and the like....total tramp!!

think my mare has started - but think its her second one - really really didint want it to happen this weekend as away on sunday/monday doing long distance - will be hell!!!!!

I can never tell when mine is in season, this morning she has been on the edge of 'tarty' she did a buck whilst walking down the lane to turn her out - i think though that was because she was feeling fresh - but saying that she has been cavorting around the field a bit today...

Tara isn't yet, well she is showing no signs of it anyway! but then she is always so skittish in the stable that im sure she cant be any worse when shes in season!

TART!

Mine is well and truly! You never usually know when she's in season as she's as non mareish as they get.But this week she's running up and down the boys fence prancing around shaking her butt in their faces! Squirting constantly, the geldings love her, everytime i take her out of the field the geldings neigh for her constantly until she is returned in the adjacent paddock to them.Who would have a mare ay! me ! i love them.
