Hi All,

just so u all know a little bit of background I have just moved in with my other half and i'll be honest we are struggling money wise so my car decided to break on me big style £1000 later it still wasnt fixed ive now got a new car and we are beyond skint, then my mare decided to rip her shoe off and was terribly lame with a hole in her foot and as if that isnt bad enough i got up this morning looked out of the window and noticed some funny stuff that looked like egg on my boyfriends car i woke him up and he said it looked like frost until he went to get in it came back in and said the paint peeling off my dad came round and said someone has thrown paint stripper at it now we have only lived there for 4 month and we havnt upset anyone or have any enemies that we know of, the sickening thing is its going to cost at least £600 to put it right because thats the insurance excess (hes 23 so young driver and a guy) so honestly i feel like crap at the min I just want a normal easy life is there such thing?

Poor you. No advice other than you aare due some good luck. I Hope things get better for you.

People can be aawful for no reason. My crappy car got keyed a couple of years ago for no reason. Tis rubbish.
 
Bad things happen in threes, look on the bright side, you've had your three. If your skint, leave the car. It's only bodywork, & will effect his no claims at the least, if not put up the premiums. Then at such time you decide to sell the car, you can weigh up the cost of re-spraying versus value. Sorry but even contemplating spending £600 on car bodywork is not my idea of beyond skint. That said, hope your horse is ok again soon.
 
A good sprayer will be able to do the panel for much less than that. Not sure I'd bother with insurance. Am on phone so can't see locations, but if you're in surrey or west Kent can recommend a couple of guys. Sorry you feel you're having a rubbish time. Know how you feel and I'm sticking the two fingers up to this year on new year's eve!!
 
thanks everyone , the thing its not a dodgey area or anything at all its a quiet little cul-de-sac with mostly oaps, im so worried as i feel like hes been targeted as they didnt touch mine and hardly anyone knows we live there, to get to our cul-de-sac you have to go on to an estate first and its not like you can see his car from there you would have to know we live there im so worried we havnt done anything to upset anyone that we know of and noone else has been targeted x
