Following on from some negative posts about Derby House Saddlery the other day I just thought I'd put the opposite side. Placed an order Tuesday morning via the internet for two items, received email Wednesday telling me one out of stock (pair of shorts for my holiday - not going to be much use to me in the UK when I get back LOL!). I cancelled those no problem and the other item arrived in the post this morning (Thursday). So no complaints from me.

I've not had many probs with them either tbh. The only thing I struggled with was a pair of boots I ordered were o/s for ages so I cancelled it. Usually stuff comes no problem though

I have always found them very good too. Good and bad in all of them!

I was not being derrogatory against DH was just asking is anyone was having a problem with a particular item. I have been happy with service in past but would like to be informed if they dont have an item in stock when I order and if it will be a long time kept updated with emails. I would order from them again but will phone not use internet as I will ask if things are in stock.
 
I've used them a lot in the past and up until recently never had a problem.
Placed an order a couple of weeks ago and received an email over a week later to say that 5 of the items were out of stock & would be for at least 4 weeks.
Bit annoyed that it doesn't display online if it's already out of stock and also annoyed that I was not told until over a week later!
 
I still havn't got my item I ordered in March...have made several phone calls, each one saying it will be there by end of week - still not here.
 
ive had absolutely terrible trouble with them (search past posts) waiting for months and months and repeatedly haing to sent the wrong size,colour, brand stuff back. shame really
