OH was bragging about how he could do horse better than me and quicker so I sent my OH down the field to collect Charlie Bear my big IDxTB knowing full well that at any moment several new horses were about to be introduced to the herd.
I can still hear the screams now......
Myself and other liveries stood on the muck heap watching hapless non horsey OH chasing 600kg of prime horse meat running around 10 acres. Eventually OH caught Charlie and was bringing him when a newbie horse sniffed the electric fence and spooked causing a stampede. OH valiantly held on to end of rope..........lost footing and was dragged about 100yards through the mud (It was December) before he realised that he could infact let go of rope.
Meanwhile, I stood at gate and yelled for Charlie knowing all along that his in built body clock would tell him it was tea time........and he would automatically bring himself to the gate, where I would open it and he would happily take himself to his stable, something me and Charlie had been doing for years as part of 'our' routine!
