Inaccurate Passport

Our lad's isn't perfect either. Most of the markings are good, four white legs where they should be, face markings right, he is quite distinctive, but he is bay with a splash on his belly and they have left it off...the splash that is.

My geldings passport is totally wrong! For a start its got the wrong height on, no breed and wrong date of birth. The one thing that is right is his markings lol.

My horses passport doesn't even have markings in it.... Just a name, year of birth and micro chip number!

Contact the PIO and they should send you out another form for the id and silhouette, get your vet to fill it in and return it with the passport.

This is assuming that the microchip number on the passport matches up with the microchip in the horse.

I've just had to do this. Don't bother with DEFRA, they are completely hopeless!
