Was just having a glance at the Kelly Marks books on Amazon; in particular: Perfect Partners (which looks quite good). But there are, of course, literally thousands of books on riding and stable management out there.

So I was wondering: which ones have you found the most useful? Anything you go back to again and again? I seem to remember we always had an old BHS textbook in the tackroom of my riding school; a hefty blue hardback which was perfect for looking stuff up in when you weren't quite sure about something. Or just for dipping into every now and then!

Not quite sure about indispensable - but indisposable - my Manual of Horsemanship from 1968 - it cost 7/6 which is 37.5p (hardback). Still keep it - just in case. Simple diagrams for teeth etc.
