Piper cut his leg a few days ago, nothing major, it is mid cannon bone behind. This morning it looks a bit puffy around the cut and the scab has opened up so I have poulticed it.
He is in all day but I would like to turn him out tonight, I think perhaps leave it uncovered but slop something on it to keep it wet and open then get him in and repoultice tomorrow? What do you think. He can stay in if necessary, or I could put an exercise boot on and leave him out poulticed.
Also, if I turn him out with it uncovered what would be best to put on it overnight?
