Info on old horse *pics* where to post

hi all

i was unsure where to post this

In 2004-5 i had a cob on loan however he was sold and i never got his new owners details

he was 14,.2 5yro when sold from East ardsley Wakefield. Very quiet & affectionate good in traffic didn't like being stabled in the winter.

Where would i put up wanted ads? i would love to buy him back!!

Local tack shops? Even Post Office, local shop etc.
Put a post on HHO, Lost/Missing section.

He looks gorgeous btw! Hope I don't find him first because I think I'd snap him up too!

Could you perhaps contact the people you loaned him off and asked who purchased him?

I tried, she claimed she didn't have anything on them, hardly suprising as she never contacted me whilst i had him to see how he was

As this was about five years ago I would expect him to have faded out a fare bit so he may look alot different to your photos.

Do you think i would still recognise him if somebody were to get intouch?

Although his grey patches may have faded to white his skin will still be dark (known as a historical coloured) so his patches will still be there but they really only show when wet or clipped. Did he have a passport at that time? maybe you could find him on the National Equine Database if he has an unusual name although this won't tell you his current owner.
