info on registering or grading a foal

Hi. Looking for some info for a friend. She has a foal out of a czech warmblood mare and by a licensed stallion but cant find/contact breeder for covering certificate or even DNA testing. I would think without covering certificate she cant register foal? What's her options? Just a basic passport or some way to register or grade foal with Scottish sports horse? Thanks x

I think weatherbys do DNA parentage testing for non tb horses although they wouldn't register it themselves

I'm not sure what protocol is over there for licensing stallions but if that was over here, the stallion's DNA would be on file and all mare owner would have to do (in lieu of CC) would be to send in DNA of foal saying which stallion mare had been bred to. The DNA would then match up and foal could be registered and graded. She may also have to have a letter from the inseminating vet stating he AId the mare on such and such a date.
