Liri had the metalwork removed from her fractured jaw last week because it was so infected (luckily the facture has healed). The bone was really infected too, and quite alot of it had to be removed. She's now dosed up with antibiotics and twice daily bute, bless her. The surgeon told me that post operative x-ray's showed a large piece of broken off bone in the jaw which she couldn't get to so its still there. She said it may well burst through the bar in her jaw, so am checking on a daily basis for signs of this. Hope she doesn't have to have another operation, she's had 2 ga's in the last 7 weeks
