Hi everyone! I'm Currently studying a FdSc in Equitation. For my portfolio my chosen subject is 'Equine Obesity' any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks!
1) Could you recognise if a horse/pony was overweight/obese? If so, how?
2) Are there health problems linked to obesity? If so, what are they?
3) What would you do to help the overweight/ obese horse/pony lose weight?
4) What, how much & how often should we feed the overweight/obese horse/pony?
5) Why do horses/ponies become overweight in the first place?
