Info wanted on offspring KWPN Uphill/Johnson lines

Hi all,

Does anyone have/know of someone who has any offspring off the KWPN stallion Uphill?

Dam sire is Johnson (also KWPN) who I believe is still breeding (with a hefty stud fee!) and competing at Grand prix.

Just wondered on their ability and temperament?

Personally I would be very wary of Johnson offspring.
IME they are extremely sharp so I would be wanting something with a little less blood (some of the german lines etc) in there somewhere.

Are you looking at one?
 
Is this the horse you were asking about previously? If it was nobody in their right mind would have produced that breeding and not registered it as Uphill covered a lot of mares due to his popularity in Holland however he has never stood in the uk physically anyhow. I believe he covered 350+ mares in 2010.
 
Thanks for your replies. No this was a different horse. The uphill/johnson one my instructor went to see and there were a couple of issues- which one of them now you've mentioned that may have been due to her sharpness- so my instructor said it wouldn't be suitable.
