Information wanted about area Huddersfield

Hello I am wondering if people could help me in the Huddersfield area. We are possibly moving to the area in the near future and potentially renting a farm. I am wondering if it is quite horsey around there and what is the livery yard situation like if there a great need for them if people can point me in the right direction with regards to feed merchants and hay suppliers that would also be very helpful any information would be brillant. Am spending weekend with Huddersfield peps so will ask.
but they're horsey and there is good hacking when I went .... but you cant beat where I am

Some great haylage suppliers locally!
Livery yard wise, depends which side of Hudderfield, south side seems to be a bit more horsey than north as closer to great riding up on Pennines etc. generally people are looking for good facilities and a nice arena and as we are not short of grazing in the area being surround by open countryside people are generally looking for plenty of turnout with no restrictions in winter etc.
Some great local shows and generally lots going on in and around Huddersfield!
