Infrared or Magnetic

I am wanting to buy some premier equine boots for my horses and was just wondering which inside wraps would be best - infrared or magnetic? They will only be used overnight and my horses are eventers if that makes a different. Views, opinions and experiences of them please! Thank you in advance and pics of said wraps. ?

Talking to my horses back lady the last time she came and we were discussing the infrared rugs vs magnetic rugs. Unfortunately there isn’t much unbiased research done however in her opinion the infrared is just projecting the horses own body heat back in to the body so it’s no different to the horse wearing a warm rug - or in your case wraps. The interesting thing with magnets is that they promote blood flow round the body so if your horse is suffering with an injury or tightness then magnetic therapy is going to be more beneficial than a warm rug.

I dont think either are supposed to be left on all night (I could be wrong but I can check the bags when I go to the farm)
If i remember correctly you also have to build up the amount of time you leave them on, so half an hour at a time
The way I used them is the infra red pre-riding and the magnetic post riding, watch out for the sales or clearance, I bought the wraps seperately and ony paid £15 each for the inners
I would say the magnetic have had more use, they have been loaned out to friends horses who have had mild injures or swellings and they have all went on to purchase their own set, I obvisouly cant prove it was the boots working but I feel they do help
If we were travelling a short distance I would use the boots as travel boots with the infra red inserts, lots of options to them but you would probably have more use for the magnetic ones and then watch for the infra red ones coming up in a sale
