Ive put this on NL as well but Ive started using inhalers (ventolin & beclomethosone) but Ive noticed that when I use the baby haler when I press the inhaler down some of it comes back out of the area where the inhaler sits. Ive checked that its in properly but any ideas why its leaking?

I might get another one. Also hes not that keen on me putting my hand over his other nostril. Should I keep trying to get him used to it?

Hi, my boy has been on inhalers since January and I have found that it leaks out of the back if you don't press the inhaler down just as your horse breaths in. If you puff as they breath out it just gets blown out of the back of the spacer device.

I was told it was important to keep my hand over the other nostril and George doesn't seem to mind this, also remember to only do 1 puff at a time, shake the inhaler and then do the next one and so on.

I promise it does get better with practice :)

Thanks Ive been doing it wrong. I will follow your advice tomorrow morning. I havent been shaking it between inhalations either. Also Im dreading my vet bill I hope its not that expensive. My insurance company wont cover any of it. I dont see the point of insurance.

Why arn't your insurance company paying? Mine have been brilliant so far and have paid out over £2000 for endoscopies and inhalers..............
