I would like to take Viento to a show or 2 later this year, purely to get him out and about. Not really into showing but would like to have a change.

Trouble is, I dont know what he could do. So, here is a photo, any ideas? ( I dont really want to pull his mane)

Im sure there is a spanish show at West Wilts once a year, but i might be really wrong.....Dosent SirenaXXI (or something like that) show her spanish horse at a special one for them?

aww well i do alot of cob under saddle showing and i think he would do excellently at light weight hunter , that helps! any novelty classes are good because any one can enter them!
hope i make sense lol!
any more questions just ask!
hope to hear from you soon!

Yeah!

Fiona Foy was encouraging me to show him in spanish classes but Im not that keen as they are not local and there aren't that many around.

i have a lipizzaner, theres not many spanish classes around, but alot of the affliated shows have a forerign (sp)class.

other than that to be honest, hes a good build, id suggest theres not much you cant do with him! hack, ridden horse small hunter, possibly hunter but id say may be he dosnt have enough bone on the legs, but im not an expert.

also the affiliated shows run the potential sport horse classes hes deffinatly a contender, and you can do in hand or ridden,

the best i can offer in ways of examples is ...http://www.southwestponyassociation.co.uk have a look at some of the scheduales you will see what i meen about classes, and they have details of the sports horse classes.

Definitely not potential brood mare or Mountain and Moorland!!!

That gets rid of two!!!

Think you could try sporthorse as that covers a multitude of sins!!!

Or a local unafilliated youngstock class.

possibly hunter or youngstock at somewhere unaffiliated. perhaps pot. sport horse or something. i do showing an its nt all tht bad just remember a hat as some judges wont let u in without one, pale trousers, an some good boots as riding boots u fall over in!
gd luck!
