I have a TB X Coloured Cob 1year old gelding, and he looks piebald, but his colour is actually a really dark bay. He has a more thoroughbred look about him. I've done coloured showing with him this year for the first time, and bought second hand stuff off ebay to be cost effective in case we didn't take well to it!

I've had alot of good feedback from Judges, and so I want to pursue his showing further next year, and want to buy some new gear for us both!! I want to continue with coloured showing, but someone also recommended me to put him in Sports Horse classes. Would you wear the same stuff for both classes?

I really like the pikeur epsom tweed show jacket in the brown. Do you think it would be suitable? I will attempt to upload photos, I'd appreciate your feedback xx

You're links are wrong. In your photobucket, when you're looking at the pictures in your album (i.e they're small) there will be a couple of boxes under each one with various adresses in them. One will say

There you go, sorted.

When I bought show gear I had in mind ridden showing later in life, so bought stuff I could use them as well. So nice green tweed (I like green and it suits me) and decent tack.

To be honest I don't think it really matters exactly what you wear as the handler as long as it's smart and suits you both (i.e no point having brown because it's 'correct' if it doesn't suit you!) - at the Royal Highland everyone was in slightly different outfits (various tweeds, shirts, trousers, hats etc) but all smart and looked absolutly fine.

ha ha ha!!

Bless you, thanks for that!

I ended up putting it as my signature just to show the photos up! Now I know!!

I have been wearing a green Mears tweed and cream jods. I do know that I should wear darker trousers as his legs are white. I really love that pikeur jacket, but I wondered how well it would go with him with it being light brown and him looking piebald! Also, I used a rope halter last year, wanted to put him in a bridle next.... style?? colour?? suggestions appreciated thanks xx
