Just a quick question.

I was wondering if you were allowed to use bridle numers instead of the card type tied around your waste?

I have them for the next couple of shows we are doing but hate themand wondered if bridle numbers were acceptable?

No, bridle numbers are only used in showing for veterans to display their age.

To make the 'back' numbers look better round off the edges with a pair of scissors and use some black thread/elastic to tie if round your waist rather than endless plastic string.

Thanks for that. I did wonder if that was the case but thought it worth finding out!

And thanks for the tip, going to dig out the numbers in the morning and cut away!

I have a piece of narrow dark ribbon, tie a loop in each end, loop one over a jacket button, through number and then the other end loops over the same button. Looks neat and tidy, I hate those bits of string that you can never undo at the end of the day!
