Hi, on the BSJA website under registration and prices etc it says that there is a 50% discount for horse/rider that have not been reg before. Does anyone know if this is indeed the case? It would be a mighty helpful if it was lol. Thanks for any reply x

Oh BUGGER!! Not fair. Was hoping to register this winter and get that deal...but was registered for just 1 year about 5 years ago...only did about 5 shows!do you think that the BSJA might have forgotten me? Will have to sneak into their offices and wipe my name of their records & then apply.

SB I think you will be fine as you are a "new" member - the discount applies to people without a CURRENT membership - as yours was so long ago I am 99% you will get the discount x

Was it during a promotion tho???

It was there or thereabouts. Last November (end of)...Either way, they didn't mention anything about the promotion which I think was splattered all over the press the week after I registered

As long as it's over 3 years or more since you were a member you will get the discount, I had a 3 year gap and got mine, although the 50% only comes off your membership, your horses is the usual price, ended up being about £110 for both I think

LEC joined on the Riding Club deal, I think it worked out cheaper than the 50% one as it runs for 2 years. Might be worth joining a RC for £20. I would ask about it.
