Im taking my boy to the vets this eve, as last night he was racing around with his half brother, and as he jumped up onto a higher flower bed in the garden, he misjudged it, and wacked his foreleg on the wall. He yelped and couldnt really walk on it last night.
This morning he is putting more weight on it, but Im taking him 2 vets tonight just in case.
Any ideas? He does let you touch his leg apart from feltock/toe area. I think he might have bruised/fractured a metacarpal bone, and/or pulled his shoulder.
Any help appreciated! ps. do you think the vet will just tell me to rest him before they xray him?
