injury update

Sian had the vet again today, still dont know why he is lame but now can barely walk.

Vet has advised that I wet poultice for the weekend to see if anything turns up. If no better by monday, its into the vets on wed to x-ray. Hes on bute for the pain and ACP to try to calm him.

On a positive note, he loves the stable mirror and hopefully it will continue to re-assure him.

lets hope its an abcess-i know they can make horses very lame, usually they go very lame all of a sudden though whereas didnt yours get worse? having said that, my horse had an abcess and was intermittently lame! would your farrier not be able to have a look and see if he can drain it?

Has farrier seen him? With all respect to vets, I find farriers more knowledgeable when it comes to feet.
