I have had Inka 3 months now. She has been on a fun ride and had a morning Autumn hunting. Both she was fab at.
She also hacks along and in company and is generally a lovely person if she gets out of bed on the right side
So today I decided it was time for her to go to a party on her own so took her to a walk and trot dressage test.
It was her second time in the our lorry and my first time driving with a horse in without my boss with me.
We got there fine and apart from mum dropping the ramp on her head
unloaded and got on. It was pouring with rain and strong winds but she didn't mind at all. She walked into the outdoor school like she has been there all her life and warmed up well.
She walked into the indoor school very well considering it was her first time ever going indoor and apart from spooking at the judges was very very good and not too looky.
Once we stopped to talk to the judges Inka realised they weren't going to eat her and settled.
We did an ok test all things considered and loaded back up to come home, wet through but pleased.
Mum and I went back over to get my test sheet and I was very pleased to get 63.5%, just out of the placings and some lovely comments from the judge.
So the next party is being planned, tiny showjumping in 2 weeks time.
Now that will be a laugh.
