Has anyone used one? Are they worth it?

My youngest (2 years) has a condition that affects her balance. She loves ponies and riding would really help her, but she is just far too wobbly in a normal pony saddle even with someone holding her.

Would the inky Dinky help? Or any other ideas?

It depends on the way in which she is wobbly. Inky Dinkys hold then tolerably well from front to back - but there is nothing to keep in place side to side. So if your daughter is laterally unstable it won't help. You might be better of with a bucket type. You can get the wicker pannier type - but she might benefit from holding herself as much as she can.

The Zaldi Hippo saddles are incredible - here http://webshop.viva-iberica.com/zaldi-hipo-comples-saddle---saddle-for-disabled-riders-1259-p.asp Expensive but absolutely fabulous om allowing the rider to do what they can whilst still keeping them secure and safe.

In googling I can across this http://www.spokesnmotion.com/paddle?form=187
Which looks interesting but I haven't used it.
