Well for those of you who gave advice re Inky's lethargy and depression ive had the blood tests results and they show everything is normal

They suggested trying him with painkillers to see whether he perks up but TBH im not going to bother. Getting the dosage right for minis is really hard and im just going to give it a few weeks first as the last thing he needs really is drugs if he doesnt really need them. Vet did say by giving him painkillers we would be clutching at straws and agrees the best thing is to wait.

So i still have no idea whats wrong except at least i know bloods are normal

Well, good news regarding the bloods.
Has anything changed that may have depressed him?

Can minis use anything like redcell or propell plus or any of the other equine pick me ups?? I have seen horses do very well after a course of these.

He has brewers yeast as part of his feed balancer so not sure whether i could give him more??

Not really thought of natural painkillers might be worth a shot.

Think he might want a girlfriend!!! Pockets cant stretch to a girlfriend just yet! Would love to see the OH face if i suggested it!!

Just an idea but Global Herbs do something called Restore, its a kind of detox supplement. Used it on ours when they seemed a bit down in the dumps and coats were dull. They are now shiny and happy horses!

Would Redcell not affect his iron blood levels though if they are normal now??
