Hey everyone! I'm possibly relocating to Scotland, going to view a house near Peebles tomorrow. Any kind of horsey scene around these parts? Any feed store/farrier/vet etc. recommendations would be very much appreciated 🦄

I'm from Gorebridge which is about 20 minutes towards Edinburgh from Innerleithen. In general the borders / Mid Lothian / East Lothian / Edinburgh is a great horsey area - lots of riding clubs (Peebles probably being your closest)

Horse stores / Feed merchants you have Harbro at Peebles and Fordel (Dalkeith), Drum Feeds and Equikro more into Edinburgh. Lots of farriers and vets around - I use Dave Murray but I'm sure there will be more border based people around with their recommendations. Same for vets - I used Central Equine.

Join some of the facebook pages / riding club social medias they're pretty friendly round here, and you'll get tones of help!
