Anyone used the plastic shoes called inprints & how much di they pay to have them on. I have just paid £300 to have my pony fitted with them on his front feet, luckily its being done through insurance, but I have heard that was expensive.

Yikes! That does sound expensive!

A ned on our yard had them for a while during a long lay off from laminitis, and off the top of my head I think the owner paid £120 for a front pair. That sounded bad enough to me!

Gosh that is well expensive. I paid about £80 a couple of year ago for a front set on one of my ponies. Must say I found them fab, pony had a real bad bout of laminitis and these imprints were great.

Again had them on a few times and from what i can remember they were about £120....... totally worth it though if you have one that really needs it...the improvement was fantastic!
Just had them off and am barefoot again and she is not even footsore and coping beautifully

I looked at them, but the expense was just too much so went for the Epona polyurethane shoes which are half the price and I'm hugely impressed by them, they fully support the frog and sole, yet flex with the foot. Have a look at http://www.eponashoe.com/
