With all the coverage of the Bridgend horses it was interesting to read Sarah Fisher's blog about working with the horses of dunsink which hit the press before christmas with newspaper reports of dumped & abused horses. Just shows that edication rather than condemnation is sometimes a better option! http://horsehero.com/sarah-fisher/62950

Good work on getting the horses looked after - hopefully things will improve for all those horses in that area

How absolutely fantastic. Thats such a great story. Lets hope other regions,Bridgend springs to mind, will copy this fantastic work. Well Done indeed.

The difference between this and Bridgend being many and co-operative owners with only one or two horses each in Ireland to a few unco-operative owners with many horses in Bridgend.
Definitely a way forward though with help to castrate colts and reduce the problem long term.
