Fascinating stuff - thanks so much. I got sidetracked in reading another article that was mentioned in other people's recent reading, which was about the sudden death of a working hunter show pony, just before a show class. The article discusses the use of medication/ drugs in American equine competitions. Very interesting, if shocking. Does it happen in UK showing circles?
