Quite a few riders inspire me, the usual ones Mary King etc. But really the riders that inspire me are not necessarily famous or well known of. But they don't get the credit they deserve. Imo it doesn't matter how big the achievement but how hard the people who accomplished there personal aims worked using sheer determination and perseverance, i don't think it matterswhat level you get to from this, an achievement is an achievement. :)

I saw Lee Pearson and Carl Hester at Wembley, amazing, total respect, I'm never ever going to even think about complaining about gammy hip, dodgy shoulder, having previously made excuses for myself about not being strong enough blah blah

Seeing Lee Pearson on a horse he'd ridden a handful of times and getting it to dance was truly inspirational

My horse Mike rolls his eyes at me every time I go off and see a competition/demo and come back to him all, yunno, inspired, he soon puts me straight

I saw this and have to say whilst the spanish riding school was amazing, the highlight was Lee Pearson. Truly inspirational.
