Can anyone reccomend a calmer that I can just feed my horse a few hours (or even the day before) it is needed? Im planning to do quite a lot of fun rides this summer but he gets so worked up, he starts napping when hes infront or har rear/buck fits when he sees everyone galloping off infront as he thinks hes getting left behind. He hasnt really done this sort of thing before so I was considering trying a calmer until he feels relaxed in these situations.

Took my boy to his first sponsored ride this Saturday (first outing in a trailer etc for about 10 years!) I gave him Valarian (yes banned if competing!) for a week and on the morning Valarian in his breakfast and So Kalm plus paste 2 hours before we were due to arrive.

He travelled like a star and on the vet check before we set off the vet advised his pulse wasn't even elevated as she would expect for a horse which had come out of the trailer 10 mins before! He was totally chilled.

B-kalm paste is good, you get it from horsehealth wessex website, worked like a charm on zak out hunting, which is a miracle believe me!

Tried magic and so-kalm syringe. Sometimes it works and I think brilliant then he is really tense again at another show and I think 'no it doesn't.'
Friend yesterday recom. nupafeed but can't find price on website. Global herbs are sending me zephyr pollenex [for his headshaking] and their calmer plus for his tension.
Need to win the lottery soon for all these suppliments I buy
