Instant gratification - who can I order a rug from today & get it delivered tomorrow?

You'll be lucky. Most companies want orders by 2pm at latest and as speaking as a postie you will be charged well over the odds for 'guaranteed Saturday delivery'. Cant you go to a saddlers ? what you save on postage you can spend on chocolate and wine.
 
I ordered a rug 4pm Monday afternoon at it arrived Tuesday- that was from Equestrian Clearance- I'd never used them before but was impressed with their delivery service!

Other places I've bought rugs from and they've turned up fairly quickly include:

Hyperdrug (always very quick), Townfields Saddlers, Old Dairy Saddlery (Jumpers Horseline) and TDS Saddlers- so a few for you to choose from!

A Saturday delivery usually costs more I think.
 
Which part of London are you? Maybe some one can suggest an alternative saddlery for you? I think the saddlery referred to at St Albans is Coleman Crofts. If you ar Southeast based then a trip to Frogpool manor is a good idea - large tack store and you can look on-line to see whats available. There is also Surrey Equestrian (leatherhead).

Or thinking laterally, give a courier a call, find out what the saturday rates, shop on line and pay over the phone - and get the courier to collect!

Surrey Equestrian are no more!! :( They are still there and trading as Surrey Pet Supplies, they can order horse feed in/supplements, but no longer sell rugs and saddlery etc etc- which is a SHAME!
 
Thanks, FleabittenT - placed my order with RideAway at 3.26, so let's see if they deliver the goods tomorrow!

I'm in Surrey and yes, sadly, Surrey Equestrian is no more.

Rideaway are by far and away my favourite online tack shop, always a good choice & competitive prices. They've never let me down yet...:)

Hi, i have not been able to get onto Equestrian clearance website at all ? ive been trying for weeks !! when did you use it ?
 
I don't know if anyone has said this (because I haven't read all the replies) but equestrian clearance are brilliant. I ordered a rug last week one lunch time, got an e-mail at 8.30am the next morning to say it had be dispatched and it had arrived my 10.30am!! I have bought loads of stuff from them and it always arrives quickly plus they are really cheap!
 
Hoorah for Rideaway - placed my order just before 3.30 on Friday, it was delivered to my yard before midday on Saturday and the rug was a good fit. Very pleased and will shop with them again.
