As per subject. please could anyone give me some instructions to makeing my own hay bar as my horse mashes her hay into her bed and I don't personally like to use haynets.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you

a piece of strong wood fitted in the corner of the stable, made just smaller than chest height so high enough legs can't get over and into it...ideally - make it removable so you can slide it out and sweep it...so like a slidey thing.....
(sorry - i'm not being very good with the ol' describing of things this evening!)

Thick ply wood with the corners cut off so it slightly narrower at the bottom and therefore sits at an angle..

Two runners screwed to the wall to secure it. Just needs to be strip wood. They should be positioned to give a tight fit.

Because of the angle of the wood (and it being a little narrower at the botton than top) it can be positioned so the sheet sits off the ground with a gap at the bottom. How high depends on your horses size.

There is another thread like this in the new lounge two (i think) One of the ladies in there got her husband to make it for her using rubber matting instead of the wood, it looke just like the real thing.

Sorry I couldnt be more specific on the location, but you could try searching the forum?

Good Luck, hope you get what you wanted!
