The title says it all really, I am in desparate need for lessons on my new horse, we have a great all weather school at the yard so am looking for a good flat work instructor who is kind and patient and good.
Any recommendations would be great.

Thank you

well, alot of my pony club instructors come from that area. Of the top of my head the best I can recommend is caroline jackson, I believe she is based in rugely, I think she events primarily but is none the less a good BHSAI instructor. If you are looking for a real pure dressage instructor alison/alice Beasley is in that area and she is fantastic - but expensive (trained by carl hester!) Others are Donna Bates, Caroline thornton or Jo Bowen.....

Might be worth Pming Dr_james as he keeps his horse in that area & will know all the best intructors.

Purely dressage?

If so, cant recommend Sonia Webster enough. Shes classically trained and very sympathetic (group 2 dressage rider). She trains a number of very well known young riders particularly

Shes based at ashford in the water, so just outside bakewell but does travel. Her details are on the BD trainers database.

Of course... if you're closer to uttoxeter, richard davison is based there and is faaaaaaaaaaabulously good and again, classically trained which tends to make them more sympathetic
