Please can anyone recommend a good instructor to help me bring on my very green 4 year old?
I hope to bring him on to be a good RC allrounder, so would be looking for an instructor with a good basis in both flatwork and jumping.
At the moment he is a pretty blank canvas.
We are just outside Holmes Chapel.

Thanks for the replies - I have had a look at the modern horse website and it looks really interesting, do you have experience of training with them?

Yes, I took my horse to New Barns at Chelford for lessons with Lisa, then I persuaded her to come here so a couple of others could have lessons too. She has a particular interest in classical dressage, and owns one of the rescued Lippizaners, who has been, er, challenging. She broke her leg recently so Carole Miller came and taught in her place, and she is very good too - she didn't just work on my seat, she worked on how my horse was going. I haven't seen the others teach but I have met them at clinics etc and they are all very much in tune - if you talk to Lisa (or email her) and tell her what stage you and your horse are at, she will suggest who is best for you
