Sorry i'm having a lil rant as my insurance have just told me that they won't be payin my £800 vet bill!!!
I kind of see there point but what else was I spose to do???
I came down one morning and my pony wouldn't eat, was totally not himself and looked ill, so I call the vet and they say keep an eye on him. 3hours later his still no better and Im quite worried about him, so call vets back and book him in to go over later that day, by the time we get to the vets hes perked up and eating but I thought he still should be checked over and the vets did also say that they can perk up then go down ill again.
they done a few bloods and everything seemed fine but I also raised concern that although being a Welsh D hes not a good doer at all so they asked if I was insured and done further investigations but couldn't find anything wrong with! he came home and continued to look unwell and not very interested in food for a week but vets just keep an eye on him.
Anyway he seems fine now and still don't know what caused this, insuance won't pay out as vet couldn't diagnose a problem but apprently i did the right thing by consulting my vets!
I spose it nice to know there is nothing wrong but could of done without £££
