Hopefully getting another horse and present horse is currently insured with NFU. About £35 a month or thereabouts, but is there anyone that would insure 2 horses cheaper. I only really need to insure for vets bills and third party, and not for full value, as this is where the premium shoots up. Who do you use for insurance?

I insure with NFU and have two insured with them but no discount, unfortunately

Have you thought about contacting an insurance broker in your area? They could serach various companies for you and find a competitive quote. Obviously do not know of their individual charges (if any) for doing this but I work for an insurance company (obviously can't say who) and we only deal via brokers and, given a good reason (ie claim free risk) we consider discounting certain policies.

Alternatively try getting some different quotes and see if your existing insurer can compete, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to get a discount if you do not have any/ have few claims.

In my mind you don't get anywhere if you don't ask!
