Insurance advice please

I have just bought a bog standard riding pony (6 year old) for happy hacking and would like basic insurance inc vets fees (most important component). I have filled in lots of online quotes but am confused with the results! What do you pay per month/year, and who do you use - any advice as I'm boggled....

I have mine through pet plan equine. I have a 5 yr old cob mare I just use for hacking and in the school and I pay £18 p.m. With £3k vet fees, loss of use and disposal . I did tell them about previous health issues but someone told me not to. I can't see the point in lying tbh.
