has anyone used animal friends horse insurance, and what are your experiences with them? i have allways used nfu, but their prices have rocketed ...

I think they're ok but not 100% - I have a feeling they used to be connected to E&L but don't think they are now. Look at who underwrites them (should be able to find it on the website - usually under 'about us'). Think they used to (or still are) operate from outside mainland Britain but not sure if that's still the case.
